    Heat exhaustion

Be careful of this folks, it will sneak up on you.

Doing some training recently when it was 106, then afterwards had some work at the homestead and got beat down by this.

Was drinking enough, urine was pretty clear. I work outside every day. I'm acclimatized to this heat. Was a little more "active" in the training that when we work outside though.

Just felt like sleeping mostly afterwards. Even a day later my temperature was "off" a good bit, the headache, joint aches, etc.

Water, Tylenol, Propel, electrolyte solutions, salty foods have all helped.

It can certainly sneak up on you. Think hydrate or die (I think that is someone's slogan, maybe Camelbak) but it is so true. If you are out away from people or in the woods and it happens you better recognize it early and know what to do and have things there to help.

    Glad you're okay 1Admin....

Shoulda had a ham sammich in your pocket bro. I heard it helps.

Friday I was out doing hvac work near all day. Drinking..sweating like mad. Index was 109 irrc. Plus reflective heat off the building..in the sun..with tour condenser s running. My sweat was sweating. I ignored the leg cramps figuring it was just my leg that's jacked up getting used more..nope...
My electrolytes are still messed up.

Like how the sun feels like a heat lamp on you ? Lol

People wonder why I carry water in my cargo pocket at work....

Stay hydrated..get in the shade..or a.c. ...pace yourself.
Were not 20 anymore.....hate to say it....but as PSD and you said it
WILL sneek up on you if your not careful.

I think I'm nursing a sinus infection also, so that certainly doesn't help the matter.

    Nope it doesn't.
If your on meds they deplete your bodies nutrients...could slow down your recovery time even though your refilling with electrolytes.

Started taking Doxy for the sinus infection and I can tell it's starting to get better. Still a boatload of "fullness" in the noggin though.

Funny, I'm fighting a sinus infection as well. I'm on day two of a z-pak and I am starting to feel better as well, but the head is still full also.
