    Have you practiced it?

Just a bit of a reminder.....

Have you practiced placing your tourniquet on yourself recently? How about under austere situations where it is dark, and you have to place the TQ on your dominate arm with your non-dominate hand....while staying low under cover...while your rifle is slung? How about your leg, while under that same cover? Remember, you cannot move the injured extremity as the bullet/knife/glass damaged the nerve when it sliced thru you...

The new 4th Gen SOFT-T is a great improvement over the first couple models.

Got a handful of them in recently. Better handle that is easier to lock down. Wider buckle and grippy stuff on the back that seems to help facilitate self aid putting on one handed.

That new SOFT-T sounds good, I will look into it. I am a CAT guy, but like the SOFT-T as well. I have a SOFT-T I use in my AC3 classes so I can teach others that there are more than one TQ that is acceptable. I just carry the CAT's due to "muscle memory" with it. Kinda like I practice and carry a Glock, but know how to use a S&W M&P and a 1911.
