Pre-orders are going quick on these.
This new Boson core is supposed to revolutionize thermal.
When you consider $2K in thermal a few years ago would have got you a basic PS24 thermal with much lower specs that could not be weapons mounted or helmet mounted, things are moving in a good direction with these new models.
Like any new products from FLIR, we expect to see crazy long lead times the first year or so the product is out. The TK's that were debuted last summer are just now starting to ship within a couple weeks from FLIR instead of the 4 weeks they originally took to ship each time.
So the morale of the story is, get your pre-order in, your not charged until your order is ready to ship and that will guarantee you one versus waiting around.
