Groceries
While it's great that we could live off the fat of the land if needed, it's nice to have access to fresh food. Do we have freeze-dried meat and vegetables and milk and eggs? Yup. Do I prefer fresh? Yup.
My husband is so worried about me going out to the store that I have paid for Walmart and Instacart delivery. Now when I need/want something, I just throw it on a list until I have $35 worth and it will get delivered for free. It's worth it not to have him worrying about it. His health issues have him pretty edgy and I don't need to add to it. Instead I'll putter around the garden and house - cleaned and reorganized our double linen closet today and planted more tomatoes. Tomorrow I'll pull weeds and do some other mindless tasksI may never walk into the grocery store again...

We went the other day for the first time in weeks.
Needed OFFICE SUPPLIES.... Seems like you can be prepped for zombies and if your business is going gangbusters you'll run out of copy paper, ink and box tape.
NO ONE seemed to be taking this serious around here- S. Georgia normal southern charm get in your face hug your neck and love on you type of BS. Going to be a lot of dead people that kept with social norms.....

Amazon will have it here thursday.
BUT BUT BUT Printer ink isn't a critical item so yoiu can't buy it.
I'm waiting for that to be proclaimed.
Still under 600 dead. So it ain't even close to a normal light
flu season yet.
Feels funny
Noticed Pelosi and Max Waters are creating a DIGITAL DOLLAR and DIGITAL WALLET at all federal banks so they can pass the money out.
Sliding Digital currency inside the "Save American's who are laid off" bill.

It looks like Pelosi's laundry list of socialist goodies is falling by the wayside, thank heavens! Just get something done to support businesses and their employees through the worst of this mess.
Husband jumped in the pickup and went out for a ride just to get out of the house - he didn't stop anywhere but just wanted some sense of normalcy. I did some laundry and I'm going to go scrub the shower - my normal😉

UPDATE: I have found Walmart Delivery to be virtually useless. Store inventory seems disconnected from the Delivery inventory, so getting what I need isn't generally working. InstaCart is more expensive but it's been working for me.
