Got Skin Stapler?
For those that do not want to learn how to close wounds with a suture, or are too squeamish to do so, there are skin staplers. Their cost has come down significantly over the years.
Here is one on Amazon I looked up. I do not get any benefit from this link. If you want just go to Amazon and search Skin Stapler, there are several to choose from. This one has 35 staples. Do not forget to buy a skin staple remover as well. So for about $15-$20 you can get a set.

I have a couple skin staplers courtesy of someone (?) years ago - still sealed up and ready to go. I also have scalpels, blades, sutures, surgical scissors (variety), more bandaging, sterile pads, antibiotic ointments, burn cream, alcohol pads, etc. etc., even an air cast. I hope I don't need to use the heavy duty med supplies but am glad to have them on hand.

prc-104....on quick glance, that looks like a fairly complete minor surgical tray. That would be a fair price for all that comes in it. Added bonus it looks like everything is not packed in one big sterile tray, so you can get to a suture or skin stapler without breaking into a large kit.

Good thread, it made me take inventory. I have a small surg kit, but not as comprehensive as the medvet kit. I also have a stapler (not a red one) but no staple remover. I’ll have to research that. I keep steri-strips in all kits. For someone who has limited medical training, those seemed to me to be the safer bet as opposed to sutures and/or staples, although in a severe condition I would use them. I keep QuickCot around too, although I have heard mixed reviews from ER doctors. All kits have Israeli battle dressings as well.

He also packed a ton of elastic bandages and other new style stuff in with the kit. I was VERY pleasantly surprised and pleased.

The kit (in the case) looked teeny . Hahaha.
It came in a extra large ziplok baggy.
The kit was in the middle (well protected) and tons of stuff packed the kit in the baggy.
That extra stuff he included was too much to even list out here.
I'm super pleased
Almost as good as buying something from JRH. Almost but not quite. Hahaha
