I'm sure the DC elites would have no problem with all of us peons living in CCP-style communes just like this. If I was homeless and had to live like this, I'd find a way to get out of it quickly! On the other hand, why can't we build one of these villages for all of our elected reps? We'll decide what they get for their communal meals...
